What's the difference between 304 and 316L stainless steel for outdoor enclosures?

304 stainless steel handles general outdoor humidity and urban environments well (8–12 year lifespan). 316L contains molybdenum, which dramatically improves resistance to chloride corrosion (brouillard salin, côtier, marin, and chemical environments), extending service life to 15+ years in harsh conditions. For indoor or mild outdoor use, 304 is sufficient. For coastal, marin, or chemical exposure, 316L is strongly recommended.

Can these cabinets be used in direct rain and sun exposure?

Oui. With IP66 or IP67 rating and 316L stainless steel construction, these cabinets are designed for permanent outdoor deployment in all weather conditions. UV-resistant surface treatment prevents degradation, and the full-circumference door seal prevents water ingress. We also offer anti-condensation heaters for cold climates and ventilation systems for hot climates.

Do you provide internal separation compartments?
