Answers to common questions about floor-standing distribution cabinets
304 stainless steel handles general outdoor humidity and urban environments well (8–12 year lifespan). 316L contains molybdenum, which dramatically improves resistance to chloride corrosion (Salzsprühnebel, coastal, Marine, and chemical environments), extending service life to 15+ years in harsh conditions. For indoor or mild outdoor use, 304 is sufficient. For coastal, Marine, or chemical exposure, 316L is strongly recommended.
